Organizations
Every odrive account includes an Organization (Org) that allows you to manage subscriptions, invite team members, and handle billing from one place. Your Org is automatically created when you sign up.

YOUR ORGANIZATION¶
When you create an odrive account, an Organization is automatically set up for you. During your 30-day free trial, you can explore all features and invite team members with no seat limits.
When you're ready to subscribe, you can choose from:
- Annual plan — $200/user/year
- Monthly plan — $20/user/month
To manage your Org or subscribe, go to your Org management pages in the web client. Only Org admins can manage subscriptions and billing.
Cancel within 30 days for a full refund
If this is your first purchase with us, you can cancel any time within 30 days to get a full refund. We want you to have plenty of time to explore all of the features and to feel comfortable with your decision.

ADDING AND REMOVING MEMBERS¶
You can invite or remove Org members at any time.
With a paid subscription, the number of members in your Org is limited by the number of seats (units) in your plan. If you need to add more members than your current seat count allows, you'll need to purchase additional seats first.
If you remove members, your paid seat count remains the same so you have unallocated seats available. You can keep these open if you plan to add someone else soon, or reduce your seat count to reclaim credit for the remaining time on those unused seats.
In either case, the subscription renewal date always remains the same and any additional charges or credits are prorated accordingly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS¶
Do the people I want to invite have to sign up for odrive first?¶
No, the people you invite will get an email with a link that they can use to join the Org. They will be able to create a new user as part of the sign-in flow if they don't have an odrive user yet. See our Set up Orgs documentation for more information.
Is there a free trial?¶
All new odrive users receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. Your team members can explore odrive during their trial period. During the trial, there are no limits on the number of members you can invite to your Org.
Additionally, you can take advantage of our cancellation policy. First time purchases will be able to cancel any time within 30 days for a full refund. Your organization can use that time to explore odrive together as well.
What's the difference between a trial Org and a subscribed Org?¶
During your trial period, your Org has full access to all features with no member limits. Once the trial ends, you'll need to subscribe to continue using odrive's sync features. With a paid subscription, the number of members is limited by the seats in your plan.
If I get a subscription from an Org, is it limited in any way to that Org?¶
The subscription capabilities granted by an Org membership are the same as an individual subscription. You can use all benefits against any storage you have, even if it is unrelated to your Org membership.
What happens if I'm a member of more than one Org?¶
Having multiple sources of an active subscription doesn't give you any more or any less benefits than if you had one from a single source.
What happens if I have my own personal subscription and I get one from an Org?¶
You are allowed to have a subscription from both sources, but you won't have any additional benefits from doing so. You could consider canceling your personal subscription if your Org membership is something you see as long-term.
How do I talk to someone to get help with my Org?¶

Who can manage the Org?¶
Only Org admins can manage subscriptions, billing, and members. If you need to make changes and you're not an admin, contact your Org admin. See the admin documentation for more details.
How do I change my credit card details for my Org subscription?¶
You can go to your Org's Billing page to update credit card information.
What is invoice billing?¶
Some organizations are set up with invoice billing, which is managed by our sales team. If your Org is on invoice billing, self-service billing actions are not available in the web interface. Contact sales@odrive.com for any billing changes.
